A1 Tires · Bay Terminal
Starting up

Catalog

Every size A1 sells, built into this page. Any size can be sold whether or not it's on the rack — take the order and the tire gets ordered in.

Appointments

New tires are appointment jobs, not walk-ins. They have to be ordered — at least one business day, or same day if the order goes in before noon. Book the customer a time rather than promising the tire today.

Sales

Every ticket rung on this device. Delete removes a row outright; Reprint brings the receipt back up.

Admin

Owner controls. This copy runs on the A1 Tires store itself, so it keeps its tickets and settings on this device — the tablet and the phone each keep their own. Export the CSV if you want them in one place.

Catalog sync

All 305 products, variants, SKUs and prices are built into this page — nothing to sync, and it works with the wi-fi down. Ask me to rebuild the page when prices change in Shopify.

Receipt header

What prints across the top of every receipt. Edit any line and hit Save.

Pricing

Set to 0 — no tax is added to any ticket, cash or card. Your listed prices are what the customer pays. Raise it here if you ever want tax added on top.

At 0, the Cash / Card choice only records how they paid — it changes no totals.

Staff

Who can ring a ticket, and who gets the Admin tab. The name on each sale comes from here.

Online booking

Appointments booked at the counter appear on the Appointments tab immediately. Bookings made by customers online can't reach this terminal on their own yet — a storefront booking form has no way to write into it. To connect them you'd need either a Shopify booking app that creates orders (which I can then read), or a small booking page that writes to this terminal's database. Tell me which you'd prefer and I'll wire it.

Sales data

Everything rung on this terminal, for your books.

What this terminal does and doesn't do

It does: look up any size, override a price per line, add the balance, ring a ticket, print a receipt to any printer this device can see, keep a sales log, and delete a ticket outright when it was rung wrong.

It doesn't: take card payments, move inventory counts, or write orders back into Shopify. The card still runs on your existing card terminal and you record the method and amount here. Sales stay on the device that rang them — export the CSV for your books.

The PIN is a shift lock, not security. It records who rang a sale and hides the Admin tab. Anyone who can open this page can get in with a PIN from this list — don't treat it as a vault.
